Most people transfer domain because either they have a problem with the registrar or the look for a better deal in terms of prices and features. First of all, disable the domain privacy services on your domain. Verify the registrant email address. Ask your existing registrar to give your domain name’s authorization code. And make sure you remove all the locks applied on your domain name. It should take anything between 7-14 days depending upon the process of your current domain registrar. As per the ICANN & Registry regulations, you are prohibited from transferring domain name before 60 days. So, apply for a transfer only after 60 days from the date of domain registration.
